Description
A flat cover gives you nothing to push against; the Rib’s sewn cross ribs do. Under acceleration your legs and seat catch on the ribs instead of sliding back, and on a Yamaha YZF 250/450 (2017 to 2019) you also get the classic motocross look riders come back for. Underneath it is the same 1.2 mm (0.05 in) non-slip, waterproof gripper fabric, with a polyester backing that blocks water and double stitching around the perimeter for mud, jumps and pressure washing. It is patterned on the stock seat of this generation, CNC cut and hand sewn, so there is no excess fabric anywhere. Built to order in Buenos Aires in 48 hours and installed with a staple gun in 15 to 20 minutes.
