The sewn pleats on the Plisada give the YFZ 450 a soft, even relief across the whole seat, without the hard ribs of other designs. It is a good pick if you want texture and distributed grip but still want the seat comfortable when you spend time sitting down. The fabric is 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper material over a waterproof polyester backing, double stitched around the perimeter and CNC cut from a pattern taken off the original YFZ 450 seat, then hand sewn so it lays flat.
