The whole surface is textured, with no raised ribs or rubber on top: that is how the HF works on the YFZ 450. High frequency embossing over 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper fabric holds better than plain material without changing the shape of the seat, which matters when you are sliding forward and back through a section. It suits everyday riding as much as track or field use. The polyester backing keeps water out and the double perimeter stitching survives repeated washing. We pattern it on the original YFZ 450 seat with CNC cutting and hand sewing, so it fits with no wrinkles or loose fabric.
