Description
Ribs came out of motocross, but on the Africa Twin XRV 750 (90/03) the Rib earns its place for a different reason: the sewn cross ridges give you something to brace against when you open the throttle with the bike loaded, and they add a classic look that suits this generation. Under them is 1.2 mm (0.05 in) non-slip gripper fabric on a polyester base that keeps water out, double stitched around the full perimeter so the edges survive miles and washing. It is patterned on the original XRV 750 (90/03) seat, CNC cut and hand sewn, so it fits with no wrinkles or slack. Built to order in Buenos Aires in 48 hours and installed with a staple gun.
