Pleats sewn along the seat, soft relief and even traction: the pleated cover sits between plain gripper and hard ribs. On a Yamaha YZF 400 / YZF 426 it gives you a textured seat that holds you without locking you into a single position. The gripper fabric is 1.2 mm (0.05 in), non-slip and waterproof, and the polyester backing keeps water from reaching the foam; the perimeter is double stitched for motocross and enduro use. Like the rest of the range it is patterned on that Yamaha original seat, CNC cut and hand sewn, so it fits with no wrinkles and nothing left over.
