With cross ribs sewn into the top, the Rib gives a Yamaha YZF 400 / YZF 426 the classic motocross look and, more usefully, real contact points for when acceleration tries to push you off the back. The base is 1.2 mm (0.05 in) non-slip gripper fabric, resin-coated PVC over a synthetic weave that stretches four ways. The polyester backing blocks water and the double perimeter stitching keeps the cover intact through mud, jumps and pressure washing. It is patterned on that Yamaha stock seat, CNC cut and hand sewn, so it fits without wrinkles. Built to order in Buenos Aires in 48 hours, and you install it with a staple gun, screwdriver and pliers in 15 to 20 minutes.
