For a New Crypton (2011 to 2016) that piles on daily miles, Total Grip is the simplest way to replace worn factory upholstery. It is smooth 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper fabric, non-slip across the whole surface, with no embossing or raised sections, sitting on a polyester base that water does not get through. The pattern is taken from the original New Crypton 11/16 seat, CNC cut and hand sewn, so it lies flat with no bunched edges, and the perimeter is double stitched. We build each one to order in Buenos Aires with a 48-hour turnaround, in the color combinations you see in the selector. Fitting takes 15 to 20 minutes with a staple gun.
