No rubber, no sewn ridges: the HF for the XR 650 R gets more hold than smooth fabric purely from the high-frequency embossing that covers the entire 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper surface. It is the choice for riders who want extra purchase but prefer a clean seat with no panels or ribs. The fabric is non-slip and waterproof, over a polyester base that stops water from reaching the foam, and the double perimeter stitching holds up to grit and frequent washing. We pattern it on the XR 650 R’s original seat, CNC cut and hand sewn, so there are no wrinkles or extra material.
