High-frequency embossing across the whole surface is what separates the HF from plain gripper fabric: more hold, with no hard ridges and no glued-on rubber. On the Yamaha YZ 80 (1993-2001) that shows up on the track and on everyday rides alike, because the rider stays planted instead of constantly repositioning. The fabric is 1.2 mm (0.05 in), non-slip and waterproof, resin-coated PVC over a synthetic weave that stretches four ways, with a polyester backing and double stitching along the entire edge. It is cut from the pattern of that YZ 80 stock seat, so nothing bunches. Built to order in Buenos Aires in 48 hours, installed with a staple gun in 15 to 20 minutes.
