Pleated stitching is what changes the feel of the seat on the YZ 125/250 (2014 to 2017): instead of one flat panel you get a soft, even ridge pattern that holds your riding pants across the whole seating area, with no hard ribs to work around. The fabric is 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper material, non-slip and waterproof, over a polyester backing that keeps water out, with double stitching around the perimeter. It is patterned from the original seat of this generation using CNC cutting and hand sewing, so it fits with no wrinkles or leftover material. Built to order in Buenos Aires in 48 hours and stapled on at home in 15 to 20 minutes.
