Same 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper material, now with high-frequency embossing spread over the entire surface, so it holds you in daily use and on dual-sport days off the pavement. The polyester backing keeps water out and the resin-coated PVC over synthetic weave stretches in four directions, following the curve of the seat without bunching. Double stitching runs around the perimeter and the pattern is taken from the original DR 800 RS seat. Built to order in Buenos Aires and ready in 48 hours; you fit it yourself in 15 to 20 minutes with a staple gun and 3/4 in staples.
