On a KX 125 or 250 (1992 to 1996) the fabric has to do the gripping, which is why the HF runs high frequency embossing across the entire surface of 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper material: it holds better than a plain top without adding ribs or rubber that would change the seat profile. The resin coated PVC over a synthetic weave stretches in four directions and follows the shape; the polyester base blocks water and the perimeter is double stitched, so mud and pressure washing are no issue. Patterned on the stock KX seat, CNC cut and hand sewn. Made to order in 48 hours and installed in 15 to 20 minutes with a staple gun.
