The base is our HF gripper fabric, 1.2 mm (0.05 in) of waterproof PVC-on-synthetic material with high-frequency embossing across the whole seat, plus rubber panels on both sides where your boots rub. That is the spot a plain cover wears through first. The polyester backing keeps water out and the double perimeter stitching holds up to daily miles. Each cover is patterned on the original KLR seat, so it lays flat with no wrinkles or extra material. Made to order in Buenos Aires in 48 hours; you staple it on yourself in 15 to 20 minutes.
