HF is 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper fabric with high-frequency embossing in the center of the seat, so it holds better than the smooth version without hard ridges or rubber panels. You stay where you sat down, which means less correcting with your arms on a long ride. The polyester backing is waterproof and the perimeter is double stitched.
