It is a comfortable alternative to pronounced ribs, using the same 1.2 mm (0.05 in) non-slip gripper fabric, a waterproof polyester base that keeps water out and double stitching around the full perimeter. The pattern is taken from the original seat of those bikes, so it sits flat with no wrinkles or excess.
