The FMX Covers Ultra Grip solves that with rubber panels on both sides where the boots rub: they protect the cover and give the rider leg support to feel planted on the bike. The main surface is 1.2 mm (0.05 in) high-frequency embossed gripper fabric, more grip than smooth, with a polyester base that keeps water out and double perimeter stitching. The pattern is taken from the original XR 100 seat, so it fits without wrinkles.
