On a VFR 800 Interceptor from 2002 to 2008 the original seat fades and goes hard with age, and a factory replacement is not always available. Total Grip is a straight swap: smooth 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper fabric, non-slip across the whole surface, with no embossing and no rubber, so the bike keeps its restrained sport-touring line. The resin-coated PVC over a synthetic weave stretches in all four directions and follows the seat’s curves without wrinkling, and the polyester base keeps rain from soaking into the foam. Double stitching runs around the perimeter. It is patterned on the original Interceptor seat, made to order in Buenos Aires in 48 hours, and you fit it yourself in 15 to 20 minutes.
