It uses the same 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper fabric as the smooth version, but the whole surface carries a high-frequency embossed texture that bites more without hard ridges or rubber panels, so moving around on the seat stays easy. The polyester base is waterproof and the perimeter is double stitched for everyday commuting. It is patterned on the original Elite seat, so it sits flat with no wrinkles.
