Total Grip handles it with smooth 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper fabric, non-slip across the whole surface, no embossing and no rubber, cut to the original seat pattern for that bike and hand sewn so nothing wrinkles. The waterproof polyester backing protects the foam, which on a bike of that age is the first thing to go once water gets in, and the double perimeter stitching holds the edges.
