The cross rib pattern is the one everybody knows from motocross, and on the Can-Am 800/1000 Renegade 07/11 it does the same job: every seam gives you a place to brace when you open the throttle and your weight wants to move rearward. It is built in 1.2 mm (0.05 in) non-slip gripper fabric with a waterproof polyester base and double stitching around the entire perimeter, so mud, sand and pressure washing do not pull it apart. Patterned from the original seat of this Renegade generation, it lies flat with no wrinkles or slack. Made to order in Buenos Aires in 48 hours; you fit it in 15 to 20 minutes with a staple gun, pliers and 3/4 in staples.
