When you open the throttle on dirt with a DR 650S/90 or Dakar 650S/91, your body slides back and you lose feel at the front. The sewn transverse ribs of the Rib cover give you bracing points to stop that, plus the classic motocross look that suits these bikes. They are sewn onto 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper fabric with a water-blocking polyester backing and double perimeter stitching. The pattern comes from the original seat of these models, CNC cut and hand sewn so it pulls tight. Made to order in Buenos Aires in 48 hours; you fit it in 15 to 20 minutes with a staple gun and 3/4 in staples.
