That is where HF fits: 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper fabric embossed at high frequency in the center of the seat, adding traction over plain gripper without ridges or rubber panels, so long road stretches stay comfortable. It is waterproof, with a polyester base that blocks water, and double stitched around the perimeter to survive mud and washing.
