This HF cover uses 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper fabric with high-frequency embossing across the full surface, which holds better than a smooth top and saves you from resetting your position at every stop. There are no rubber panels or glued-on ridges: the grip comes from the fabric. The polyester backing keeps water off the foam even when the bike sits outside, and the double perimeter stitching handles the daily grind.
