High-frequency embossing across the entire surface is what separates the HF from plain gripper fabric: more bite, with no ribs, pleats or rubber panels involved. On a Yamaha YZF 250/450 2002 still seeing track and trail time, it is the simplest way to get back the traction the worn factory upholstery has lost. The fabric is 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper, resin-coated PVC over a synthetic weave that stretches in all four directions, with a waterproof polyester backing and double stitching around the perimeter.
