Once the stock seat on a KLX 250 R (1994 to 1996) or KLX 300 R (1997 to 2007) turns hard, cracked or slick, the Total Grip is the straight swap: plain gripper fabric, fully non slip, no embossing and no rubber add ons. It is the simplest cover in the line and the one that makes most sense for daily riding, road and trail alike. The 1.2 mm (0.05 in) resin coated PVC over a synthetic weave stretches four ways, the polyester backing keeps water out, and the perimeter is double stitched. Patterned on the original KLX seat. Built to order in 48 hours and stapled on at home in 15 to 20 minutes.
