Ride a Honda CRM 125/250 (1994) in enduro boots and the sides of the seat are what wear out first. The Ultra Grip starts from 1.2 mm (0.05 in) high-frequency embossed gripper fabric and adds rubber panels on both sides, right where your boots rub: they protect the cover from abrasion and give your knees something to squeeze in corners and over jumps. It is an enduro and MX cover, waterproof thanks to the polyester backing, with double stitching around the perimeter so mud and pressure washing do not open it up.
