The soft ridges spread grip evenly across the whole seat, with no hard ribs digging in on a long touring day. The fabric is 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper material: resin-coated PVC over a synthetic weave that stretches in all four directions, backed by a polyester base water cannot get through. Double stitching runs around the entire perimeter. The pattern is cut on a CNC table from the Super Tenere 750 stock seat and finished by hand, so it fits with no wrinkles or excess.
