On a race bike like the Husqvarna CR 125/250 1997 the seat has to hold even when it is caked in mud: HF carries high-frequency embossing in the center of the seat and grips harder than plain fabric, with no hard ridges and no rubber. The material is 1.2 mm (0.05 in) non-slip, waterproof gripper fabric over a polyester base that stops water, with double stitching around the perimeter for mud, jumps and washdowns. It is patterned on that CR original seat, so it fits with no wrinkles, which matters on a bike this old where stock upholstery is long gone.
