Ultra Grip puts two rubber panels along the sides of the seat, right in the strip where boots rub all day. They protect the cover from wear and give your legs a surface to lock onto when you clamp the tank through a rough straight or over a jump. Under them sits the HF base: 1.2 mm (0.05 in) high-frequency embossed gripper fabric, waterproof, with a polyester backing that stops water and double perimeter stitching.
