On a KLR 250 (1991-2005) the original cover has done its time, and the HF is how you replace it with something that actually holds: 1.2 mm (0.05 in) gripper fabric embossed at high frequency over the entire surface, with no ribs or rubber. It is waterproof and the polyester base does not let water through, which matters if the bike lives outdoors. Double perimeter stitching keeps it intact through commuting and dirt roads. We pattern it on the stock KLR seat, CNC cut and hand sewn, so it fits with no wrinkles. Made to order in Buenos Aires in 48 hours; you install it in 15 to 20 minutes.
